Hi, tried to join Fitness Premier in Manteno, IL. and was told this is not one of the facilities are we a Silver Sneakers?? they said the # should have a 17 numbers.
Kathy, Silver Sneakers is a different program. The Mutually Well search tool is located at https://www.mutuallywell.com/locations
I want to know what fitness centers are available to me in my area. Of all things I’ve heard ymca’s aren’t included. That’s sad.
Yes, YMCA typically has the Silver Sneakers program available in some Medicare Advantage plans but not the Mutually Well program. The Mutually Well program has many other places with state of the art facilities and programs. Just go to https://www.mutuallywell.com/ and enroll, or call 833-574-6105 for a customer service person.

Hi, my name is Mike, and I belong to Gottlieb Fitness center in Melrose Park IL. Can you tell me if this is part of the Mutually Well Fitness program. I want to find out which healthclubs take the Mutually Well plan.
Mr. Sharp, thank you for a great question! I found the mutuallywell website at https://www.mutuallywell.com/ and searched for your area. Gottlieb Fitness Center doesn’t show as being one at this time. You can ask the management to get in touch with Mutually Well and sign up. That may work. The searchable list for your area is located at https://www.mutuallywell.com/locations#41.9005865,-87.8567276
Michael, I know the Gottlieb Fitness Center is closed and you’re probably doing a bunch of things outdoors, which is great.

Why such a high cost for gym membership ($25/mo.). Silver Sneakers cost me $50/year. A membership at my gym is $30/month so $25 seems like no bargain. Hopefully, MoO can get on board with the Silver Sneakers program — a real affordable option for seniors at $50/year.
Hello Dorothy. Thank you for your inquiry. We did some checking and yes it’s $25/month for access to over 10,000 fitness centers across the country without any contracts. So, with this, you could go to any gym on the list. Silver Sneakers is a program you must qualify for. Here are links: https://www.mutuallywell.com/pricing and for Silver Sneakers: https://tools.silversneakers.com/LocationSearch. Again, thank you for your comment. If you have more questions about what extra benefits and help you may qualify for, just call our hotline at 888-446-9157
Would the company consider getting Silver Sneakers for members!🙏
Peggy, Silver Sneakers is a different program that we also have access to for consumers. Mutually Well is administered by Mutual of Omaha and is only for Mutual of Omaha customers. Silver Sneakers is for anyone over 65. It’s at all YMCA locations as well as a bunch of others. To check your eligibility for Silver Sneakers, here’s the link to their website /https://www.silversneakers.com/
Dorothy,
Other than the COVID lockdown, how are you liking Silver Sneakers?

Hi,
My wife was asking about any benefits for fitness through our supplemental insurance with Omaha. So I checked for locations on the Wellness site in our area to see if it was worth it and all it does is search (spins). Is there no locations in Yakima, Washington for Mutually Well? She had several of her friends mentioned the silver snickers program and how very reasonable and how much they liked it. That is why she asked if our supplemental had something like that.
Thanks for your time, Dan
I just went to the Mutually Well website and typed it in for you. I found 94 locations in Yakima, WA. You might want to use a different browser like Chrome. Or just try it again. Here’s the link https://www.mutuallywell.com/locations#46.6020711,-120.50589869999999
Also, their customer service phone is 1-833-574-6105
Let us know if you need help. Our Call Center helpline is 888-446-9157
Also, here’s a tip. Anytime you feel your browser is lagging or having trouble, you can just hold down the CTRL key and F5, then release both. That will empty the cache memory (which can get quite large) and reload the page in any browser. It helps to keep things moving.
I would like to join a program but the only available thing available on the Eastern shore of Virginia is the YMCA are they part of your program?
Denise, That’s a great question. The tool for Mutually Well uses city and state. I used Hampton, VA and did not see that YMCA is part of it. However, as a member of Mutually Well, you can go to any of the locations listed. For instance, in the Hampton area, I see 14 facilities that are affiliated. Here’s a link to the map I found https://www.mutuallywell.com/locations#37.0298687,-76.34522179999999
For Silver Sneakers, the YMCA is listed as a participating location. Here’s a link to that map https://tools.silversneakers.com/LocationSearch
I NEED A LIST OF MUTUALY WELL FACILITIES NEAR ME.MY SIP CODE IS 80421
Donna, thank you for asking. I ran a query for your area and it looks like the closest one is Granite Fitness Center on Mount Evans Blvd. Take a look at the interactive map at https://www.mutuallywell.com/locations#39.39299609999999,-105.4536718

AM I ENTITLED TO GO TO OUR YMCA SILVER SNEAKER PROGRAMS, THRU united world life insurance
Marym, I called Silver Sneakers at 866-584-7389. They said United World is not part of Silver Sneakers but that there are a few Medicare Supplement carriers that are.
United World is a Mutual of Omaha company. Mutual of Omaha has a huge program they host called Mutually Well, at http://www.mutuallywell.com
Mutually Well does cost monthly but it’s less than regular gym memberships and it allows you to go to your choice of places, so you can find places you like best.
If you want it to be free, I would need to run a check for you to find a Medicare Supplement plan that includes Silver Sneakers.
In order to help you further I need to know your age, state, and zip code. You may email me directly at wbronson@empowerbrokerage.com to keep that information private, or call me directly at 817-410-5820.
I’m sure we can help you get what you want.
Does this include a membership to YMCA. They have the silver sneakers program there.
Silver Sneakers is accepted at the YMCA, among many other fitness clubs like 24-Hour Fitness, LA Fitness, Anytime Fitness, Fit for Life, area rec centers and more. Here’s the map tool to help you. https://tools.silversneakers.com/LocationSearch
However, Mutually Well does not show YMCA participating in that. Mutually Well has many more fitness centers available but YMCA is not one of them, that I can tell at this time.
how do I sign up? I am already enrolled as a policy holder and want to add the mutuallywell ASAP. how do I do it?
Michele,
You can sign up at https://www.mutuallywell.com/ or by calling them at (833) 574-6105. Also, you can look at locations online at https://www.mutuallywell.com/locations or by just calling them. I hope this helps.
When you join the mutually well program does that mean that you only pay the 25.00 and you can join the fitness center of your choice for that fee or is the 25.00 added on to your monthly premium and you still have to pay for fitness center?
Connie, when you join Mutually Well for $25/month you get access to all of those fitness centers. No additional fees. It’s like joining a cheap gym but going anywhere you want. Just make sure the place is on the list and go. If you experience any issues with this, just ask us or call Mutually Well to get it corrected. But really you shouldn’t have problems. The program is very simple.
I wish their wasn’t a monthly fee to find a place to join to workout!!!
Peggy, there’s not a monthly fee to find a place. There’s just the one monthly fee to use any of those places as much as you want. It’s cheaper than most gym memberships but lets you go anywhere in their network of over 10,000 facilities nationally. There could be 10 or more close to you for you to try out and go to whenever you like.
I am already a member of Planet Fitness and I am insured with Medicare and Mutual of Omaha. How does mutuallywell benefit me?
Steven, Planet Fitness cost averages out to $15.66 a month according to their pricing structure. For that fee you get access to their facility, probably at any location. Mutually Well is a membership that would give you access to Planet Fitness as well as thousands of other facilities https://www.mutuallywell.com/locations plus 10% to 30% discounts on Massage, Acupuncture, Chiropractic care, and more. So it gives you access to a whole host of facilities, services, and discounts managed by the Mutual of Omaha network. Does that help answer your question?
I am saving about $120 a year by using Mutually well vs my local LA fitness center membership. I would like to see my local LA fitness supported, and feel a little badly about making the change. I know most clubs make money from memberships. Does Mutually well pay based on my attendance at a local club? Does Mutually Well pay my center?
They do get paid and I’m not sure why some decide not to join. Perhaps it’s because Mutually Well is so new that some may not have had time to make the decision to join it. I’m confident many more clubs will join. Now that it’s the first of a new year perhaps they will. I encourage you to visit http://www.mutuallywell.com to look at locations near you.
Does my Mutual of Omaha Medicare Supplement cover Silver Sneakers at my local YMCA?
No. Silver Sneakers is usually included with selected Medicare Advantage plans. Not Medicare Supplement plans.
Planet Fitness in our area is only $20 a month for the whole deluxe package. And only $10 a month for the cheaper package. Mutually Well is way too expensive for seniors on a fixed income.
Thanks for sharing that information, Eileen.
Is Silver Sneakers covered at Your Tine Fitness, Clayton, Ga.?
YES 🙂
Your Time Fitness is listed as a Silver Sneakers location in Clayton, GA.
As is Clayton Health and Fitness and Dosher Physical Therapy Associates on Main Street.
Yes. I would like to sign up for a free scooter. I have problems walking from arthritis. My spine from top to bottom is just full of arthritis.
